Twas the Night Before Hollow Holiday

Twas the night before Hollow Holiday and all through the house,

Not a creature was stirring not even a Nibblekin Mouse.

The acorns were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that the Bobbleez would soon be there.

The neighbors were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of Bushytail-bakery treats danced in their heads;

And Mamma Tidyshine in her ‘kerchief and

Pappa Hoppingood in his straw cap,

All settled in for a long Hollows winter’s nap.

When out in the woods there arose such a clatter,

The Woodzeez sprang from their beds to see what was the matter.

Away to their windows they flew like a flash,

Tore open their curtains, and threw up the sash.

The moon on the crest of the new fallen snow,

Gave the glimmer of midday to the oak trees below;

When to their wondering eyes should appear,

But ten miniature Bobbleez, including Dolly the deer.

With Cheeky the cardinal, and Dawn the duck,

FlipFlop the frog and a Polar Bear called Puck,

Who whistled and shouted and called them by name:

Come Wally! Come Riley!

Come Ogy and Sniffles!

On, Terrie! On, Curly!

On Oakey and Mittens!

From the tops of the trees!

To the Honeysuckle Hollow pathways!

Let’s make this Hollow Holiday the very best of days!
