The Li’l Woodzeez™ App Privacy Policy is intended and designed to share what information we collect and how we use it with respect to the App. This Privacy Policy is part of Maison Battat Inc.’s privacy notice regarding how Maison Battat Inc. collects and processes your personal data through your use of its sites and services. Our App was created and designed with little humans in mind. Maison Battat Inc. aims to create a safe and kid-friendly digital space for them to enjoy. Maison Battat Inc. does not collect personal data in its kids’ apps.

  • we do not ask for registration or the creation of an account when using our App;
  • there are no in-app purchases which means we don’t collect transaction or payment information; and
  • our App does not track your activity or collect information regarding who and how it’s used.

b. In relation to our App

Please keep in mind that we do collect personal data in certain circumstances. This includes:

  • information sent via one-to-one or direct interactions (such as when an adult subscribes to a newsletter, enters a competition, giveaway or participates in a survey, requests technical support or provides us with feedback);
  • information provided in public forums (like blogs, comment or review sections, social community environments, profile pages or interactions on social media);
  • information we obtain from a third-party (such as a site, publicly available source or platform provider, about the use of our App on third-party platforms or devices).

V. INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH APP DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS

Our App is made available for download on third-party platforms, such as app stores. Please note that these platforms are operated by third parties. While using our App downloaded from an app distribution channel, and while the App is installed on your device, this third-party may use a variety of technologies, such as cookies, pixels, or tags, to collect and process information about you. Maison Battat Inc. may have access to it and the analytics.

Maison Battat Inc. does not control the app distribution channel’s collection or use of information and cannot change what information is provided to us by this third-party by virtue of your or our use of the app distribution channel.

You are responsible for the use by you of any app distribution channel.

VI. USES OF THIS APP INFORMATION

In accordance with applicable laws and choices and controls that may be available to you, we may use information provided to us by you, that we have access to, collected from you, or from devices associated with you, to:

  • Refine and improve our App to deliver a high-quality product;
  • Gain insight into how the public interacts with our App with the goal of improving its usability, stability and diagnose or fix technology problems and bugs;
  • Research and analyze our business practices and interactions with you to improve our customer relationship services;

Maison Battat Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy of children who use our App. In accordance with the United States’ Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not collect or store personal data from children under the age of 13 via the App.

All features and activities for children provided in the App do not require the collection of personal data from a child. In addition, any links within our App that direct out of the App, for example to our Privacy Policy, are reserved in a designated area for grown-ups behind a parental gate.

Any request for personal information on our sites, such as a subscription to a newsletter, is intended for use or activation by a parent, legal guardian or grown-up.

IX. SECURITY AND CONTROL OF PERSONAL DATA

Please note that to download and use our App, we do not collect any personal information. When you provide an app distribution channel with information, we rely on the app distribution channel to keep your data secure and confidential. Maison Battat Inc. primarily accesses the data through the app distribution channel’s tools. However, the security, integrity, and confidentiality of your information is important to us. Maison Battat Inc. uses generally accepted security measures and safeguards in an attempt to keep the data collected secure. Maison Battat Inc. cannot and does not guarantee nor does it accept liability for unintentional disclosure. We are not responsible for the actions of app distribution channels or for any intercepted information sent via the Internet.

X. ACCESS, UPDATE OR REMOVE INFORMATION

Maison Battat Inc. keeps your information for as long as necessary in providing its services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. At any time, you can make a written request to modify, update or delete your information by contacting us at privacy@app.woodzeez.com.

EU General Data Protection Regulation. We implement organizational measures with respect to processing personal information from individuals from the European Union for purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). Once requested, we will provide you with the personal information we store in relation to you. Should your personal information be incorrect, you may request to have it rectified. We may collect and use your personal information on the basis of your consent. You may revoke your consent to use your personal information in the future, in whole or in part, or request deletion of your personal information. California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018. Beginning January 1, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) will grant consumers the right to request a business to disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information that the business collects about the consumer, the categories of sources from which that information is collected, the business purposes for collecting or selling the information, and the categories of third-parties with which the information is shared.
