Li’l Woodzeez is celebrating its 15th anniversary! Each month of this year, we’ll be taking a closer look at one chosen family and recognizing all the things that make it special. We want to give a big round of applause to all the wonderful Famileez that make up our beloved town of Honeysuckle Hollow!
This July, we’re putting a spotlight on the Whiskerelli Cats. Want to meet them? Wave hello!
There are four purr-ific cats in this family of four: Mom Mom Kitt, Dad Chet, little boy Wally and baby Dixie. Together, they own and operate the Honeysuckle Sweets & Treats Food Truck! They’re experts at serving up delicious comfort foods like pizza, hot dogs, burritos, and ice cream, as well as refreshing fruits, veggies, and lemonade. The Whiskerellis are big foodies whose hospitality is unmatched!
Fun Facts About the Whiskerelli Cats
- Silly Siestas: When the Whiskerellis aren’t working the food truck, they love to take a good nap. They have hidden nap spots all over Honeysuckle Hollow!
- Monday Meowsic: On Monday nights, Wally DJs a set of funky tunes, attracting food truck customers from all over town. The Moosicalmoos are regular collaborators who love to sing over Wally’s beats!
- Bedtime Ritual: Baby Dixie always needs a bottle of warm milk before bed!
- Ice Cream Artist: Mom Kitt is an ice cream aficionado. She loves to create bold and exciting new flavors like ginger pineapple, lemon thyme, and peanut butter and jam!
- Tree Climbing: The Whiskerellis host an annual race day that includes a tree climb. They always win the tree climbing portion, but they always need help getting back down!
Did you know?
The Whiskerellis are from the big city! In 2015, they moved to Honeysuckle Hollow in search of a simpler life. Kitt and Chet were once famous for their downtown diner, but after the arrival of little ones Wally and Dixie, they sold their restaurant and got a food truck, instead. The Whiskerellis then rolled into town, and the rest is history!
